Sunday School
All of our Sunday School Ministries start at 9:00AM. A nursery is available for children ages 0-23 months and Sunday School is available for all people ages 2 and up. With the exception of the Adult Class, all classes meet in the basement of the church which has recently been remodeled.
Pre-Primary Class
In the next quarter of the pre-primary class they are learning about God's faithfulness and His promises as they walk through the book of Genesis. They are specifically looking at God's faithfulness through man's fall as corruption entered the world, God's continued faithfulness through the catastrophe of the worldwide flood, and His faithfulness in sending confusion and dispersion at Babel.
Middlers
The Middlers class includes 3rd and 4th grade students. For 2 years they go through the Bible, starting in Genesis and finishing with the book of the Revelation.
This summer their class finished a unit on “Conflicts and Problems,” the exciting time of the judges. Students were reminded that, just like the Israelites, sometimes people do what pleases God and sometimes they don’t. They need to choose to follow God.
This fall they will begin a unit on “Crowns and Prophets,” which includes the accounts of Samuel: God’s last judge, Saul: the people’s king, and David: God’s King.
Strong Kids
Strong Kids are juniors grades 5 & 6. The overall theme is God Is Worth...
This quarter they are discussing how God is worth loving. Their previous themes include God is worth Trusting, Fighting for, Sharing, Believing, Following, and Obeying. The lessons use Bible references and Bible characters to show these different themes. They also discuss how these ideas fit and relate to the students' current lives.
Youth Class
The youth class includes grades 7-12.
In the past, they have gone through specific books of the Bible most recently completing Revelation. Currently, they are diving into various life application topics like evangelism, dating, identity in Christ, spiritual gifts, etc.
